A real job in NSW
Moama: steel walls, sand floor, now fibreglass
This Moama pool had steel walls and a vinyl liner. Pools like this usually can't be converted as they are, because once the liner comes out there is only sand underneath. Fibreglass needs a solid surface to bond to.
The solution was to concrete the floor first. With the liner out and a new concrete floor poured, we fibreglassed the floor and walls and finished the pool in gelcoat. The owners now have a seamless fibreglass pool with no liner to stretch, crease or leak.
If you have a liner pool, look under the coping for the liner track and send us a photo. We can usually tell you straight away whether your pool is suitable.
Queensland and further afield
Pools we have worked on in Queensland
We have resurfaced pools in Queensland and we quote there. Contact us with your location and a few photos, and we will talk you through how an inspection and job would be planned.
For any job a long way from our Mornington factory, the crew travels to you and stays nearby until the pool is finished. Travel and accommodation are built into the fixed written price, so the figure in your report is the figure for the scope of works in it.

Questions
Common questions
Do you work in New South Wales and Queensland?
Yes. We have converted a vinyl liner pool in Moama, NSW, and we have resurfaced pools in Queensland. We quote in both states.
Can a steel-wall vinyl liner pool be converted?
Not as it is, if it sits on a sand base, because there is no solid floor once the liner comes out. If a concreter pours a new concrete floor first, we can then fibreglass the floor and walls. That is what happened in Moama.
How is travel priced?
Travel and accommodation for the crew are built into the fixed written price in your Pool Condition Report. Interstate jobs can cost more for this reason, but you know the full price before you book.
What warranty do I get?
A full fibreglass resurface comes with a 5 year written warranty on workmanship and materials. It starts on the completion date on the final invoice once paid in full, and transfers to a new owner if you sell.
