Pools we know locally
We have inspected, quoted on or worked on pools in places like Mornington, Mount Martha, Mount Eliza, McCrae, Bittern, Frankston, Seaford and the Pearcedale area. We have also done commercial work in Fingal.
Being local makes a practical difference. We can usually inspect your pool soon after you call, and if a question comes up during the job, we are a short drive away.
You can see finished pools on our Our work page and read what owners say on our reviews page.
Local conditions
Coastal soils, groundwater and salt water
Parts of the Peninsula sit on sandy coastal soils, and some areas have higher groundwater. That matters when a pool is drained for resurfacing, because water can push up under an empty shell.
Groundwater management through the pool base is included in our quotes. If groundwater comes up while your pool is empty, we first pump it out through the hydrostatic valve. If that can't keep up, we install a new hydrostatic main drain. That can be an additional cost, and we explain it at inspection so you know before work starts.
Salt chlorination is common on the Peninsula. A fibreglass finish suits a salt pool, but like any surface it lasts longest when the water chemistry is kept in range. Test regularly and adjust as needed.

Questions
Common questions
Where are you based?
Our office and factory are at Unit 16, 33 Milgate Drive, Mornington. Because we are local, we can usually get to Peninsula pools for an inspection quickly.
My area has a high water table. Can my pool still be resurfaced?
Yes. Groundwater management through the pool base is included in our quotes. If groundwater comes up while the pool is empty, we first pump it out through the hydrostatic valve. If that can't keep up, we install a new hydrostatic main drain, which can be an additional cost. We explain this at inspection.
Is a fibreglass finish suitable for a salt chlorinated pool?
Yes. Many pools on the Peninsula run salt chlorinators. Like any pool finish, gelcoat lasts longest when the water chemistry is kept in range. Water chemistry problems are not covered by the warranty, so regular testing matters.
Do I need to be home while you work?
Usually not. We need access to the pool area, power and water.
