From bayside to the outer north and west, we turn tired concrete, fibreglass and vinyl liner pools into a smooth, seamless fibreglass finish.
Concrete pool resurfaced · ElthamWhat we do in Melbourne
Most Melbourne pools are concrete
Painted, pebblecrete, marblesheen and quartz pools all take a fibreglass resurface. We also renovate fibreglass pools and convert vinyl liners.
Painted concrete
No more repainting every few years, flaking or black spot. Concrete renovations.
Marblesheen
Lifting, drummy areas and crusty white runs. Patches never match weathered marblesheen. Marblesheen resurfacing.
Pebblecrete
Rough on feet, losing pebbles or stained. Pebblecrete resurfacing.
Fibreglass and vinyl
Fibreglass renovations, vinyl conversions and spas and water features.

Where we have been in Melbourne
We have inspected, quoted on or worked on pools in places like Beaumaris, Cheltenham and Parkdale on the bayside, Hawthorn East, Balwyn and Vermont in the east, Eltham and Sunbury to the north, and Caroline Springs and the Altona North area in the west.
Eltham. A concrete pool resurfaced in fibreglass. We prepared the existing concrete, laminated a new membrane over it and finished it in gelcoat. The photo at the top of this page is the finished pool.
Balwyn. Not every job is a pool. We have also resurfaced a water fountain in Balwyn.
Melbourne specific
Older suburban pools and the end of repainting
Many backyard pools in established Melbourne suburbs are concrete with a painted, pebblecrete or marblesheen surface. Paint keeps flaking and needs redoing, and black spot keeps coming back because the surface underneath is porous.
A fibreglass resurface stops that cycle. Once the new membrane and gelcoat are on, there is no old porous surface exposed to the water any more. You choose from 8 gelcoat colours, and you can try them first in our colour visualiser.
Suburban backyards can be tight. Access is one of the things we check at inspection, and it is allowed for in your fixed written price.

Questions
Common questions
Which parts of Melbourne do you cover?
All of metro Melbourne. We have inspected, quoted on or worked on pools in places like bayside, the south-east, the eastern and northern suburbs and the west, from Beaumaris and Cheltenham to Eltham, Sunbury and Caroline Springs.
Do you strip the old surface off my concrete pool?
No. We clean and prepare the existing surface, repair cracks and voids, then laminate a new seamless fibreglass membrane over it. The old pool stays in place as the base. On marblesheen and pebblecrete, loose and drummy areas are removed and re-rendered level first.
Can you just patch a crack in my concrete pool?
No. We don't do standalone patch repairs on concrete pools. Cracks are repaired as part of a full fibreglass resurface.
Can you convert my vinyl liner pool?
Often, yes. Liner pools with cement-sheet or concrete walls on a concrete floor are usually suitable. We confirm suitability at a free inspection.
